A DOT certified SAP Evaluation is a requirement of the return to duty process.
A SAP evaluates employees who are in violation of the DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations and requirements. Employees who fail a drug test or refuse to perform a drug test won’t be allowed to work in safety sensitive positions until they complete the return to duty process. SAP evaluations are a requirement of that process.
SAPs are a neutral third party who protect public safety interests. We make sure that employees are fit to return to duty through our substance abuse evaluations. We will meet with an employee to evaluate their needs for any potential treatment or education programs, as well as follow up treatment and aftercare.
